How an edition comes together

Our automated pipeline collects recent reporting from an upstream news database and uses AI to select and summarize relevant stories. New editions use structured stories with links matched to the source material. Automated checks reject missing source material, placeholder links, and incomplete output.

AI can make mistakes. These checks do not replace independent fact-checking, and we do not claim that every edition receives human editorial review. Follow the original sources for full context and verify information before acting on it.

Context beyond the headline

New briefings explain who is affected and why a development matters. “What changed” appears when the reporting establishes an earlier state and a new development. “What to watch next” identifies a reported next step or an unresolved question, rather than predicting an outcome. Sections without sufficient support are omitted.

Supporting passages are retained for editorial checks. Automated checks verify that those passages occur in the supplied reporting; they cannot establish that every interpretation is correct. Editions publish automatically and may be reviewed and corrected afterward.

Sources and historical editions

Each new story links to its original reporting. Older editions retain their original summary text; unusable placeholder links are removed and identified. Source coverage varies by topic and day.
